The oceans still hold unimaginable richness of life. But man regards upon that mainly as an inexhaustible source of seafood. Although an ever increasing number of stocks are collapsing, 90 million tons of fish are taken from the seas every year. And much more are being wasted: up to 90% of each catch are killed in vain and go back over board as unwanted by-catch. What is the solution - sustainable stock management.
