Conservation of Iranian Wetlands Project was signed in 2005 between the Government of IR Iran and United Nations Development program (UNDP) / Global Environment Facility (GEF). The project helps to ensure that the globally and nationally significant biodiversity of Iran is properly used by and provides benefits to current generations while being conserved for the benefit of the future generations. We help land, water and biodiversity management in some critical sites across the country.
